About the Center for Excellence in Diabetes Education
The Center for Excellence in Diabetes Education (CEDE) is committed to helping people with diabetes improve their diabetes care and control.
The program teaches practical diabetes care and provides education and tools to help manage diabetes through exercise, nutrition, medications and follow-up care. Click here to meet our providers and staff.
Our mission is to provide ongoing information and education in diabetes self-manangement skills and lifestyle modifications to community members diagnosed with diabetes. The overall goal is to promote improved quality of life for people with diabetes by improving outcomes and reducing risks of short and long-term health complications. In short, "fitting diabetes into patients' lives, not making their lives all about diabetes."
We offer education and training for diabetes self-management, medical management, and medical nutrition therapy. Click here for more information.
