Dr. Henry Drinker, Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Henry Drinker is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery and shoulder care. He is skilled in minimal incision and tissue-sparing surgical techniques for total knee and hip replacement.

Dr. Drinker earned his medical degree at the University of Virginia. He completed his internship at San Francisco General Hospital and his residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and affililiate hospitals. Dr. Drinker also completed a fellowship in total joint reconstruction at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.

Dr. Drinker has 35 years experience in orthopedic practice. He is the physician director of the Cooley Dickinson Hospital Joint Replacement Center.

Dr. Maurice Bernaiche, Physiatrist 

Dr. Maurice Bernaiche is a board certified physiatrist. He specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal and spinal pain and general physiatric rehabilitation.

Dr. Bernaiche earned his medical degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Michigan State University. He also completed a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Pain at Emory University. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Electrodiagnostic Medicine and Interventional Pain Management. 

 

Dr. Sherri Kuchinskas, Physiatrist 

Dr. Sherri Kuchinskas is a board certified physiatrist. She is a non-surgical specialist in the treatment of sports, musculoskeletal, joint, nerve and spine injuries and also does electrodiagnostic testing.

Dr. Kuchinskas earned her medical degree at St.Louis University and completed her residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She completed a oneyear sports medicine fellowship at the University of Illinois where she was a team physician for all athletics and served on the medical staff for the WNBA Sky team.

A former All-American softball player at UMass, Amherst, Dr. Kuchinskas has a focus on sports medicine and works closely with the area colleges and high school athletic teams. 


Dr. Jonathan Kurtis, Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Jonathan Kurtis earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his internship at San Francisco General Hospital and his residency at Duke University Medical Center.

Dr. Kurtis has 29 years experience in orthopedic practice. Recently, he has been concentrating on surgery of the hand and wrist as well as joint replacement.




Dr. William Lohrer,
Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. William Lohrer earned his medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine in New York and completed his internship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester.

He completed two residencies, one at the UMass Medical Center in Worcester and one at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Lohrer completed his fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. He has almost 20 years experience in orthopedic medicine. 

Dr. Daniel G. McBride, Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. McBride earned his medical degree at the State University of New York Health Science Center, where he also completed his internship and residency.

Dr. McBride completed orthopedic sports medicine fellowships at American Sports
Medicine Institute in Alabama and Sportsmed SA in South Australia. He has
extensive athletic team coverage,particularly with the University of
Massachusetts. He has nearly 15 years experience in orthopedic practice.

 



Dr. Catherine Spath,
Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Catherine Spath is one of the area’s fellowship-trained hand surgeons.

Dr. Spath completed her orthopedic training at George Washington University. She also completed a hand and microvascular fellowship at SUNY Health Sciences Center at Syracuse.

Dr. Spath specializes in treatment of the hand and upper extremities but also treats general orthopedic issues in patients of all ages.
