Biography

Dr. Jonathan Fallon is a Boston College alumnus, graduating in 1994. Subsequently, he studied at the University of New Mexico, where he earned a master’s degree in biomedical sciences, focusing on the micro-anatomy and functional biomechanics of the rotator cuff. In 2003, he earned his medical degree at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he had received a pre-doctoral fellowship in anatomy.

After completing his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2008, Dr. Fallon completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in 2009. During his fellowship, he helped care for the Boston Red Sox minor league players as well as professional hockey players from the New Jersey Devils, while acting as their assistant team physician.

Dr. Fallon is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the New England Shoulder and Elbow Society, the Massachusetts Medical Society, and the Massachusetts

Dr. Fallon is the Team Surgeon for the University of Massachusetts, and one of the only doctors in Western Mass to incorporate arthroscopic hip surgery into his practice.
