Transform yourself though this amazing life event, feel better and become empowered through the changes. Like the life cycle of a butterfly, you transform with pregnancy and birth.
In each class, go into a cocoon to:
- be nourished and de-stress
- recover from backaches and other complaints
- feel your little one at your center
- connect with other expectant mamas
- emerge with more freedom, skill and confidence
The teaching includes therapeutic adaptive yoga for strength and flexibility, breathing, self-massage, sound, visualization and more. Practices for labor and birth are fully integrated.
No experience necessary; all abilities welcome. Sessions are on Mondays from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Community Room of the Midwifery Center, the yellow house on the campus of Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
Courses are ongoing and you are welcome to join a course already in progress. Drop-ins are possible if a course is running with minimum sign-ups.
Six weeks for $90; sliding scale. Courses can be pro-rated around due dates and holidays. To register, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 413-585-8990.
