Golf Fore Health Tournament 2010

The Cooley Dickinson Hospital Golf Fore Health tournament takes place on Tuesday, September 14th, 2010 at Hickory Ridge Country Club in Amherst. Proceeds from this year’s tournament will support the cardiovascular program.

The tournament offers 18 holes of golf with a shotgun start, scramble format and a limited field of 28 teams. Adding excitement to the event are a silent auction, raffle prizes, course contests, an outdoor barbeque for lunch, a dinner banquet, as well as plenty of fun along the way.

The Gift of Caring: Honoring Exceptional Caregivers

Cooley Dickinson is pleased to announce a new way to support the hospital, while also honoring a particular staff member who exemplifies an exceptional level of care. Through the Gift of Caring program, you can support the hospital’s programs and services, while recognizing a doctor, nurse, or other staff member. A captioned photograph of the honoree will be displayed in a public area of the hospital. The minimum gift to honor a caregiver in this way is $500 through a one-time gift or cumulative gifts.

Planned Giving

Gifts such as charitable bequests can be made through a will or trust agreement, while other planned gifts such as charitable gift annuities, remainder trusts and pooled income funds can provide income during your lifetime or your beneficiaries.

Healing Garden

This new garden offers a sanctuary for patients, visitors, and staff who seek a place of beauty and quiet to relax and connect with nature. A brick walkway runs through this natural space located between the North and West Buildings. As a grateful supporter, you can purchase an engraved brick to honor a loved one, celebrate your recovery, or convey a message of hope and inspiration. Other naming opportunities are also available.
