Vascular and Interventional Radiologists
Dr. Hartnell and Dr. Gates treat many conditions that affect the veins and arteries of the circulatory system. The physicians use minimally invasive imaging and guidance technology to treat peripheral vascular disease (PAD)/peripheral vascular disease (PVD), certain types of cancer, uterine fibriods and other conditions. Procedures are performed in Cooley Dickinson's cardiovascular services suite.
Dr. Gates is a board-certified radiologist with a certificate of additional qualification in vascular and interventional radiology. She earned her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Deaconess Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Gates also completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology at the Deaconess Hospital, Boston.
