Paul Higgins joined the Cooley Dickinson Health Care team as chief development officer. Higgins has a proven track record in philanthropy in a variety of settings. Most recently, Higgins was chief advancement officer for St. George’s School in Newport, R.I. Prior, his leadership experience included roles in the Pioneer Valley as director of development at Deerfield Academy and director of major gifts at Mount Holyoke College.
Higgins is eager to work with donors whose passion is supporting health care and seeks to create opportunities for local residents to support their community hospital and health system. He leads and directs a comprehensive program that includes annual giving, capital and planned giving, a major gifts program, and events. A priority is planning for the completion of the Building Our Future campaign to raise funds for Cooley Dickinson’s comprehensive cancer center and nurse development program.
The Development team is delighted that Higgins has chosen Cooley Dickinson as the organization through which he’ll continue his philanthropic efforts.
