To better serve our community, Cooley Dickinson has reduced many of its outpatient charges.
Effective Oct. 1, prices for many outpatient procedures at Cooley Dickinson dropped. Craig Melin, President/CEO, said Cooley Dickinson Hospital has historically charged higher prices per service, but the hospital and its medical staff have lowered cost by keeping area residents healthier than in other parts of Massachusetts.
But increased copays and deductibles have made Cooley Dickinson’s prices unaffordable for many residents. We have therefore worked hard to reduce our costs so that we can bring our prices to levels our community can afford.
Added Melin, “by making healthcare more affordable for people throughout the Pioneer Valley, we’re increasing access to our nationally recognized patient care outcomes and our top physician specialists.”
