Hairston House Services
Hairston House

Hairston House is a community-based recovery center for adult men recovering from alcoholism and/or other drug addictions. Individualized treatment is provided to 17 participants living at Hairston House. We are committed to helping each man recover from his dependency on alcohol or other drugs.

At Hairston House, we follow a social model that holds you, the participant, responsible for your recovery. This is achieved through self-help, twelve-step programs and structured group living in a sober environment. Each participant, in collaboration with our professional staff, develops an individualized service plan. Staff act as peer counselors and role models. The stay at Hairston House is from three to nine months, depending on the need.

Our facility, located in Northampton, Massachusetts, provides structured living, individual counseling, nutritional guidance, self-exploration, informative workshops and other resources in a comfortable, homelike setting. Conveniently located in the scenic center of Northampton, Hairston House provides spacious common areas for meals and groups while affording you the privacy you need.

The First Step
If your goal is long-term recovery from addictions, our professional and experienced treatment team can help. Hairston House is a place where you will learn how to work on your personal challenges with a positive and cooperative attitude. We believe that the best environment for change and growth is where we live the motto "one day at a time" while reinforcing our commitment to sobriety.
