The START program is here to help. START (Start Taking Action for Recovery Today) is an outpatient substance abuse program of Cooley Dickinson Hospital's Outpatient Behavioral Health Services. Participants in the START program will acquire the tools they need to make positive life changes.
START is staffed by a committed team of caring professionals who are ready to provide participants with a variety of integrated services such as therapy groups, personalized one-on-one meetings, family meetings and education.
Individuals who are ready to overcome substance abuse can expect to change their lives for the better with the wide range of effective recovery tools offered by the START program such as relapse prevention tools, behavioral change techniques, and social skill building.
The START program is located in Florence and runs Monday through Friday from 1:00-4:30 p.m.. For an appointment or more information contact START Coordinator, at 586-8550 x107. START accepts HMO's, other private insurance, MassHealth, and individuals without insurance may be eligible for subsidized care.
