George Bowers, MD a medical oncologist/hematologist, received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He holds board certification in both internal medicine and oncology from George Washington University Medical School. Dr. Bowers has practiced locally since 1977, and in 2000, he opened Hampshire Hematology Oncology at Cooley Dickinson. He is medical director of the hospital’s Cancer Care Program.

Lanceford Chong, MD a radiation oncologist, joins Cooley Dickinson Hospital’s Medical Staff after being on the senior staff at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Chong is a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology where he is certified in radiation oncology. He specializes in head and neck cancers, skin cancers, prostate cancer, breast cancer and sarcoma.

Lindsay Rockwell, DO received her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her hematology and oncology fellowship, as well as an internal medicine residency, at Tufts University School of Medicine’s Western Campus at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Rockwell is a partner in Hampshire Hematology Oncology, a medical practice located at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
