Welcome to CEPA
CEPA, Centro de Educacion, Prevencion Y Accion, is a bilingual community prevention program located in Holyoke, Massachusetts. We operate a drop-in center with an emphasis on the Latino/a community where local residents have access to free health information and support services. We understand the issues that are important to our community and work to meet your needs.
CEPA's goal is to link community members with the services you need to stay healthy. Since 1993, CEPA team members have reached out to residents providing educational activities and community wide forums to talk about the spread of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
CEPA's focus is on preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS through education and outreach. CEPA outreach workers visit Holyoke neighborhoods to distribute educational materials, condoms and bleach kits. These resources are also available at the drop-in center. We work closely with area residents who have identified other health issues such as substance abuse. And there are many opportunities for area residents to meet to discuss a variety of topics such as hepatitis c, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS, mental illness, migration stories and other issues related to Latino/a culture.
You can expect a relaxing, friendly experience when you visit the center. We are proud of our open-door policy; everyone is welcome.
We are here for you
