The Childbirth Center offers parent education classes before and after a baby is born. Our goal is to help families prepare for the birth of their child and then to support them as they adjust to a new life with their baby. Experienced, qualified instructors teach all of the classes. The information is designed to complement the care provided by the obstetricians and midwives, and the pediatricians and family practitioners that are on the medical staff at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
There is a fee for most of the classes. Some insurance companies provide reimbursement for attendance at prenatal classes. Financial assistance options are available.
Pre-registration is required for most classes. Registration packets are available at your OB/GYN office or click on "Registration Packets" under related links on this page for complete class descriptions, fees, schedules and registration forms.
