The Childbirth Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital offers parent education classes before and after a baby is born. Our goal is to help you get ready for the birth of your child and to support your family as you adjust to life with a new baby. Our instructors are experienced childbirth educators, birth and post-partum doulas, yoga instructors and parents. The classes are based on current information from evidence-based research. We advocate personal choice based on knowledge of your options. The classes complement the care you will receive during your pregnancy, your baby’s birth and after your baby is born.
Pre-registration by mail is required for all classes. An up-to-date schedule of classes and a registration packet is available through the links below.
There is a fee for most classes. Some health insurance companies provide reimbursement to their members for attendance at classes.
Financial assistance is available for all classes.
