At Cooley Dickinson Hospital, we provide comprehensive diagnostic treatment services for older adults, their families and caregivers. Our focus is collaboration among seniors, families, caregivers, community resources and primary care physicians
To address the unique aspects of aging, our professionals are committed to ongoing quality improvement and to providing the highest standard of care. The Geriatric Services Program offers individual, family and group psychotherapy, substance abuse services, education, training, support groups and consultation to caregivers and service providers.
Trained and dedicated to meet the special needs of older adults and their families and caregivers, our team includes:
- Geriatric service coordinator
- Board-certified geriatric psychiatrist
- Licensed psychologists
- Occupational therapist and expressive art therapist
- Clinical nurse specialist
Clinical services are provided at Cooley Dickinson Hospital's Inpatient Behavioral Health unit and at our Outpatient Behavioral Health clinics located in Florence, Easthampton, Hadley and Amherst
Clinical services are also provided at local Skilled Nursing Facilities and in the community at Adult Day Health Centers and Councils on Aging. Ancillary and medical services are provided at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
