Compassionate Care for Cooley Dickinson's Pediatric Patients

Cooley Dickinson's team of pediatric hospitalists are highly qualified, board-certified pediatric clinicians who specialize in providing 'round the clock, in-hospital care to pediatric patients (ages newborn to 18 years of age).

Cooley Dickinson's pediatric hospitalists are available immediately to treat clinical conditions as they arise and to provide ongoing testing and monitoring as needed. They also provide consultation to ER physicians and other specialists, attend deliveries and provide care to newborns

The pediatric hospitalists provide family-centered care and coordinate the care of your child with a community pediatrician, keeping the pediatrician informed of the child's condition, progress and plans for discharge.

If transfer of your child should become necessary, the pediatric hospitalist will discuss this with you and coordinate nursing and case management to transition your child to another facility.

In addition to the Pediatric Hospitalist program, Cooley Dickinson Hospital's outpatient pediatric services include pediatric surgery, pediatric imaging, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy.
