Since August 2009 more than 175 pediatric surgeries have been performed on children ages 25 days to 14 years at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

These procedures were primarily outpatient procedures and involved cases ranging from ENT and orthopedic surgery to general surgery, dental surgery, urologic and plastic surgery.

Cooley Dickinson Hospital has awarded $50,000 to 13 community projects whose mission is to improve community health.

The Interpreter Services Department at Cooley Dickinson Hospital has access to specially trained medical interpreters 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our service allows Cooley Dickinson Hospital to provide high-quality health care services to our patients who have limited English proficiency as well as deaf or hard of hearing patients for emergencies, in-patient care and scheduled appointments at all hospital locations.

The Cooley Dickinson Pediatric Hospitalists are highly qualified, board-certified pediatric clinicians who specialize in providing 24-hour, in-house coverage for pediatric patients who require hospitalization. The pediatric hospitalists also attend deliveries and provide newborn care.

We help uninsured and underinsured people access health coverage and healthcare.
