Cooley Dickinson VNA & Hospice provides high quality hospice and home health services to all those entrusted to our care.
Cooley Dickinson VNA & Hospice has provided quality care for patients of Hampshire and Franklin Counties since its founding in 1906. As a non-profit, community health organization, our focus then and now is on wellness, prevention and education. Since our founding, we have provided classes for expectant mothers, babysitting courses, polio clinics, community psychiatric services for veterans and patients discharged from Northampton State Hospital.
Beginning in 1967 and ending in 2004, our agency incorporated and acquired other agencies including: Hampshire County Home Care Services, Easthampton VNA, VNA Plus of Western Massachusetts, Hospice of Hampshire County and Homemakers Service of Hampshire County. In 2004 we became VNA & Hospice of Cooley Dickinson, in order to best serve our community's needs for coordinated care. On July 1, 2013, the entire Cooley Dickinson Health Care Corporation became an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital, and we are now known as Cooley Dickinson VNA & Hospice.
